Edgar built a back porch for me in May 2020, in the early midst of the pandemic. I picked him because he was very careful in assessing my needs over phone, e-mail, and text, including budget -- Pointvertex was most reasonable. First day of work, he showed up promptly with one assistant and they got busy! The job expanded when Edgar uncovered other unanticipated damage to my home's stucco and framing. He pointed out and explained problems as soon as he saw them, and offered detailed, reasonable, honest solutions. He worked with flexibility on a changing situation. Edgar was on time every day, worked diligently, and was respectful of noise and space. The finished back porch was better and even sturdier than I imagined, a huge improvement.
