Our Story

Edgar got his first taste of carpentry as a kid, helping his dad, who was a carpenter. That’s where he learned the value of hard work, respect for the trades, and the importance of family values.

He started working in construction at 21, learning the trades hands-on with local contractors across the Bay Area while also taking classes at a community college to deepen his knowledge. Over time, he built his skills and experience in residential construction.

Eventually, Edgar saw an opportunity to go out on his own, combining his experience with a more effective customer service approach for homeowners. That’s how PointVertex began: out of a dream, a strong work ethic, and the drive to build something better.

Today, Edgar stays involved in every job. His values are simple: faith, family, respect for people, and pride in the trades. PointVertex is built on those values and takes pride in delivering a high-quality finished product and improving the lives of the people it serves.

Outside of work, Edgar enjoys spending time with family, mountain biking, working out, and firing up the grill on weekends. The same steady, friendly energy he brings to life shows up in every project.
